Gardening Club is Back!

I am so happy to share Ms Juncosa’s update on the Senior School garden, the team are doing such a fantastic job!

‘The rain we had over the Christmas break kept everything well-watered. Unfortunately, we did lose one marigold to the cold temperatures. The strawberries have a little frostbite, but they are also showing signs of new growth. The broccoli went wild and sprouted, so we decided to taste two of the plants raw during patio! One plant was sour, while the other was very sweet. We are hoping to observe how the plants that have been harvested grow differently from those that haven’t. Students were impressed by the Pansie’s seeds from the sample decided not to deadhead. Muscari, daffodils, and peas have also started to emerge. Carlotta has been doing a wonderful job taking notes on our progress and maintenance in the gardening binder.’
