SECUNDARIA
Subjects
From Year 7 to Year 9 students study the full range of subjects including all sciences, humanities, creative subjects and up to 3 languages. In Year 10 and 11 students study up to a total of 10 IGCSEs thus maintaining a chance of different university careers for the future. In high school, students study the International Baccalaureate in English.
Assemblies
Once a week, the secondary students gather on the apmitheater where news, notifications and birthdays are relayed and celebrated.
Student council
The Student Council of The Academy Senior School is the highest student representative body of the school, made up solely of students from the school.
Our responsibility is to ensure the rights of students. It is very important that students participate and have decision-making capacity at school. Its objective is to defend an education that protects students and is of quality, as well as promoting a school full of activities.
