Our maths department were so proud of the motivation of the students as they took on the challenges of Pi Day which is celebrated on March 14th throughout the world.

All the students made a long paper chain representing the numbers (decimal places) of Pi showing the connectivity of maths from Year 8 to DP2. This can be seen in and around the study hall.

Key Stage 3 also had a competition to see who could remember the most digits of π. Congratulations to Pia who was the overall champion, memorising 44 digits!
