As part of the subject they study in history, Year 4 students visited the exhibition “Pharaoh, King of Egypt” at the CaixaForum cultural center in Palma where they discovered the civilization of ancient Egypt through the figure of the pharaoh. They learned what it means to be a pharaoh and to be the king chosen by the gods. It was a very successful field trip where they learned new information about ancient Egypt and consolidated what they have learned in class. It was amazing to see real artifacts and statues from over 3000 years ago and the class loved it. The guides said that the students were exceptionally well behaved and very involved.
After the visit they walked to a nearby park to have their picnic and play for a while before going back to school.
